Our philosophy is, "It can be done."

It-Prints Software & Consulting, Inc. was founded by Dan Barbaria as a result of interest expressed by others in the printing industry for the "Pads-it" product.

Dan has over 35 years experience in the printing field. He has spent most of these years supervising and operating “In-Plant” shops.

Dan is an Air Force Veteran who started his printing/programming career in 1971. In the 1970's, Dan did printing production work at the Strategic Air Command, United States Air Forces in Europe, and the Tactical Air Command Printing Plants. During this time he had the opportunity to work in all aspects of the trade. This included pre-press work, offset press operation, bindery work and high speed copier operation.

In the 1980's, Dan managed a Copy Shop within the Strategic Air Command Headquarters building and was first exposed to a computerized Print Management System. Dan started building custom software to help automate procedures the system did not have built-in.

In the mid 1980's Dan managed a Printing Facility at RAF Lakenheath in England and continued to develop his software writing skills.

Dan spent the last three years of his Air Force career as the Superintendent of the Strategic Air Command Printing Plant, managing a full service operation with a worldwide customer base.

In 1991, Dan retired from the Air Force and began working at Omaha Public Schools, Printing and Publications Services as the Printing Plant Supervisor. At the Omaha Public Schools, Dan has created a custom built internet printing request system that is integrated with a Covalent print management system. The system takes data from the internet system and seamlessly enters it into the print management system. Data from the print management system and the internet system is imported into custom utilities on Print Production systems and accounting data is returned to the print management system to complete the cycle. This has reduced countless hours of data entry and has allowed for more production time.

It-Prints, Pads-it product is an offspring of one of the programs written at the Omaha Public Schools.
